Day 3




Slow start this morning- didn’t feel so good...must have been the squid! 

A quick stop at Tammin roadhouse - bad coffee, great chips (something greasy was needed 🤦‍♀️), op shop was closed so off to next stop Kellerberrin.

Still no op shop open so back on the road.

Bruce Rock for lunch! Really yummy salads from the Bruce Rock Cafe. Gorgeous little town with a cool amphitheatre. Great craft shop with a lovely lady with awesome nails!! Alas, the op shop is closed! 😥

But interesting fact, Bruce Rock used to be called Nunogin so definitely needs to be on the gin trail! 👏

Day 6 - the last hurrah!

 And alas, our epic adventure comes to an end. Enjoyed the beautiful view and the magpies at the cottage before heading up to the restaurant at Wise for breakfast. What a gorgeous spot to sit and relax & enjoy our last meal together - now 3 sisters & 2 nieces! Such an amazing experience to share together. If Mum was here, she would have been right there beside us! 💖😢💖

Let the fun be gin!

 Our final stop in our epic adventure - Wise Wine! Checked in to our gorgeous cottage and caught up with the next gineration who had driven down to meet us. 💖 We received a warm welcome from everyone & met the man himself, Greg,  who is the brains behind the outback gins! We were treated to a delicious lunch and had a wine or two as we filled him in on our tour - the best, the worst and the ugly! 🤣 Then on to the gin! We got to see where it all happens and learn a bit about the process, as well as a taste or two! Highly recommend the sorbet! We all squeezed into Greg’s mini (🤣) and headed to Bunker Bay for the official gin party! We had a tasting of all the gins (including the Muntadgin that we hadn’t been able to pick up) and spent the next few hours singing & dancing.
