Just Ginning Around

 A couple of bargains from the CWA, a coffee from the cafe and then off to Betty’s Op Shop at the old drive in! Great shopping here - shoes, clothes & some CD’s (cases with actual discs in too!).

Stopped for a photo with the bull and with Daphne’s aeroplane and then on our way! Had to go to Dangin - cos that’s where the botanicals for the gin came from.

Lunch at Corrigin, via the dog cemetery. What an awesome idea!

Met Scott & the lovely peeps at the pub and of course bought the gin! Had a yummy lunch and caught up with a friend Jill, who happened to be lunching  there too!

Day 6 - the last hurrah!

 And alas, our epic adventure comes to an end. Enjoyed the beautiful view and the magpies at the cottage before heading up to the restaurant at Wise for breakfast. What a gorgeous spot to sit and relax & enjoy our last meal together - now 3 sisters & 2 nieces! Such an amazing experience to share together. If Mum was here, she would have been right there beside us! 💖😢💖

Let the fun be gin!

 Our final stop in our epic adventure - Wise Wine! Checked in to our gorgeous cottage and caught up with the next gineration who had driven down to meet us. 💖 We received a warm welcome from everyone & met the man himself, Greg,  who is the brains behind the outback gins! We were treated to a delicious lunch and had a wine or two as we filled him in on our tour - the best, the worst and the ugly! 🤣 Then on to the gin! We got to see where it all happens and learn a bit about the process, as well as a taste or two! Highly recommend the sorbet! We all squeezed into Greg’s mini (🤣) and headed to Bunker Bay for the official gin party! We had a tasting of all the gins (including the Muntadgin that we hadn’t been able to pick up) and spent the next few hours singing & dancing.
