Stopped at Shackleton on the way to Quairading! Smallest bank in Australia & lots of awesome sculptures! šŸ’–






Final stop for the day - Quairading and straight to the pub to get some gin!!
We had sworn off alcohol today but then... we were at the pub! It would have been rude not to have a drink with Noeleen & Daphne, and Trevor the giant bear! Angela said we can’t take him with us - such a downer!
Found our gorgeous little chalet at the caravan park and spending a quiet evening relaxing with our books and a bit of gin. Life is good! šŸ’–

Day 6 - the last hurrah!

 And alas, our epic adventure comes to an end. Enjoyed the beautiful view and the magpies at the cottage before heading up to the restaurant at Wise for breakfast. What a gorgeous spot to sit and relax & enjoy our last meal together - now 3 sisters & 2 nieces! Such an amazing experience to share together. If Mum was here, she would have been right there beside us! šŸ’–šŸ˜¢šŸ’–

Let the fun be gin!

 Our final stop in our epic adventure - Wise Wine! Checked in to our gorgeous cottage and caught up with the next gineration who had driven down to meet us. šŸ’– We received a warm welcome from everyone & met the man himself, Greg,  who is the brains behind the outback gins! We were treated to a delicious lunch and had a wine or two as we filled him in on our tour - the best, the worst and the ugly! šŸ¤£ Then on to the gin! We got to see where it all happens and learn a bit about the process, as well as a taste or two! Highly recommend the sorbet! We all squeezed into Greg’s mini (šŸ¤£) and headed to Bunker Bay for the official gin party! We had a tasting of all the gins (including the Muntadgin that we hadn’t been able to pick up) and spent the next few hours singing & dancing.
